Bienenstellplatz besichtigt!

Gestern Abend konnten wir einen ersten Blick auf den Stellplatz für unseren Bienenstand werfen! Den Schlüssel hab ich beim Imkerverein bekommen, nachdem der Pachtvertrag für den Stellplatz unterschrieben war.
Ideale Bedingungen für die Tiere (der Stellplatz liegt praktisch in einem Park) und für mich als Imker: der Platz ist asphaltiert, ich kann ranfahren ohne die Beuten noch lang herumschleppen oder per Sack-Karre verfrachten zu müssen.
Über der Stelle, welche ich als Standort ausgewählt habe, ragen die Äste einer Edelkastanie. Ein gutes Zeichen. Edelkastanien habe ich besonders gern.
Der Platz ist zudem von außen nicht einsehbar, es herrscht keinerlei Durchgangsverkehr, was das Risiko von Vandalismus bzw. Unfällen erheblich minimiert. Die Damen werden also ganz ungestört sein.
